Cali to Pasto, Colombia

Today I remembered to turn
SPOT so those of you following us on SPOT Adventures can see our route.

We departed Casa Blanca Hostel, in the rain, at 09:00. We were ready for it today and started with our rain gear on. Stayed warm and dry all day.

Rode through the Andes all day today. Probably about 200 miles of twisties and some of the most spectacular scenery we've ever seen.

If you look closely you can see the highway along the dude of the mountain.

Hailed a cab when we got to Pasto and had him lead us to the San Sebastian Hotel. Parked the bikes in the hotel garage and realized we were at the Juan Sebastian Hotel. Nice folks so we decided to stay.

View from our 5th floor hotel room.

Had dinner at a restaurant near the hotel and walked to the city square.

Got here at about 17:00 finishing a 239 mile day, about half of it in the rain.
