Fairbanks to Tok, AK

Had the bike in the shop when they opened at 9AM to switch from knobby to street tires. On the road at 11:20 in pouring rain.

Stopped for a late lunch about 100 miles from Fairbanks and to change out of rain gear as the Sun came out.

Many wide slow rivers in Alaska.

After two 491 mile days on gravel today I took it easy and stopped at Tok, AK at 4:45PM, a 204 mile day.

Not sure of my route tomorrow. I'd like to take the 'Top of the World' route via Chicken but if its raining I'll pass as there is about 125 miles of gravel. Not fun in the rain.

It rains nearly everyday up in this part of the world. Reminds me of the Lake District in the U.K.
