Panama City - Sunday

Today we hired a gal to take us on a tour of the start of the Panama Canal at the Pacific entrance.

Forty ships every 24 hours, income per day, $4 million. It takes 8 to 10 hours for the 80K trip.

Ships lined up as far as the eye can see waiting for their turn.

They started building three new locks in 2007 to handle the super ships. They'll be completed in 2014.

Amazing the size of the equipment.

Tomorrow, Monday, the Adventure resumes when we bring the bikes to the air cargo folks to be flown on Tuesday.
