Los Angeles to Osorno, Chilea

An easy day today, only 258 miles of four lane freeway. Left at 08:25 and got here at 13:15.

As we head south it's getting a lot cooler. 59 degrees when we started this morning, warmed to seventy then dropped again.

The topography reminds me of Wisconsin or Michigan.

I've been seeing these signs since entering Chile, finally had a chance to snap a photo.

The Hotel Rugaitue in Osorno.

Osorno has its Christmas decorations up.

Best steak and fish in Osorno, so we'll be there at 20:00 when they open.

Tomorrow we cross the Andes and enter Argentina. Our destination is Bariloche. Two volcanoes are giving them problems with ash and the pass
is sometimes closed for a day or two. We're hope to get lucky.
