Bike Repaired

Learned yesterday that BMW Motorrad North America is going to cover half the cost of repairing the GS. Learned today that the repair to the bike has been completed. I'll fly to Fairbanks on 17 August and resume the trip north on the 18th.

Jim made it from Fairbanks to Deadhorse on July 2nd without incident. He reports that the road was in perfect condition (gravel) and the it took him 13.5 hours with many stops for pictures. A wonderful blue sky day. Hope that I have the same luck.
