Trip Aborted

Major issue with clutch and related parts on the BMW R1200GS. Under warranty so dealing with BMW Corporate. Bike will be ready Thursday or Friday which means I can't make it to Chicago to meet Sara and take the train back to Reno.

The plan is that I'll fly home when I can get a seat out of Fairbanks and come back to Fairbanks on August 17th and make another run at Deadhorse.

I keep telling myself that it's a part of the adventure.

Jim Conley will head to Deadhorse tomorrow, July 2nd and continue the trip and meet Sam Bexon July 8th in Whitehorse to continue back to
Reno.

The large silver box is the transmission, just in front of it is the clutch.
