Roseburg to Reno

After 7,300 miles and a successful run to Deadhorse (Prudhoe Bay) I'm safely home as of 14:00 today.

Rode by Mt. Shasta this morning so knee Reno was only another 260 miles.

Made it through 100 miles of 'bambi' country by Mt. Lassen and Burney Falls without incident. Saw five road kill from Friday night.

If you zoom in you can see the road grime from the Dalton Highway still on the bike after many days of riding through rain. Looks like a couple of dsys for cleaning the beast before it goes in for the 22K service on Tuesday, plus new tires.

I'll be heading to San Diego on the 30th of September or the 1st of October. The trip south will start on 4 October when we cross in to Mexico at Tecate. (Less hassle than Tijuana and a more scenic route to Ensenada). So, I'll start blogging about 30 September.

A lot to get done before we depart south.

Rgds./Doug
