Arequipa, Peru

Dave needed a front tire and found one in town so we took the day to visit Colca Canyon. Hired a car and driver for the 200 mile trip.

First animals we saw were Vicuña.

Next we came upon Alpacas.

The area we traveled through.

The highest pass was 16,076 feet. We weren't up there long enough to suffer.

Sara got too close to this llama and it spit at her.

To be honest it was nice not to fight the wind and cold for a day. Still ice and snow up here.

Tomorrow we hit the road. May make it in to Chile, depends when we leave here.
