Catamayo to Piura, Peru

For those aware of the wild fires going through Reno our home was saved by Lake Stanley. Way too close for comfort.

Today we left Catamayo at 08:15 after a great breakfast at the cafe next to our hotel.

Some more great twistees as we worked our way to the Peru border. The camera just can't capture the true beauty.

Arrived Pirua, Peru at 15:35 for a 201 mile day. The last forty miles or so we had entered the coastal desert of Peru.
