Piura to Pacasmayo, Peru

Left Piura at 09:20 after a great breakfast at our hotel but a one hour delay because they didn't understand that we'd paid for our room via Orbitz. Had this problem before in the U.K.





Stopped to admire the desert of northern Peru and take a break from the terrible cross wind from the west.





Probably a Harley rider.






Couldn't resist, had to try an Inca Cola. Very good, reminds me of cream soda.

Our room on the inner courtyard. A festival party here at the hotel tonight. From the size of the speakers they're putting up I doubt that we'll get much sleep. The party goes until 04:00. They didn't tell us about the party until we'd checked in. And, this is the only hotel in town. Part of the Adventure.

We got here at 15:00 with a 195 mile day. Great roads all the way.
